BigSteps Policies 

-Lessons typically occur weekly.  Students must pay at the beginning of each month for lessons.  (i.e., four 30min guitar lessons on WEDNESDAY in May would be $180 dollars).  

-If family will be out for holiday or sick, please let BigSteps know 24-48 hours ahead of time and a makeup can be scheduled.  *This does not mean the student can pay for less week (s) for that month.    If the teacher cannot accomadate a makeup that works well for the family, the teacher may refund the family at the teacher's discretion. 

-Each student will be asked to have a binded notebook for each lesson so that each lesson's activities, discoveries, and exercises can be tracked.

-Students involvement level can range from low ( a fun weekly acitvity) to high (prospective Juliard student).  Music can bring joy, create a career, bring the family closer, or can feel like solving a puzzle.  

-Lessons are goal oriented and progress focused.

-Recording and production sessions require a deposit of half of the total of the services requested, that day.  (i.e., 4 hours of tracking and mixing time for $400 would require a $200 deposit.  *To the artist's advantage, they can cancel a session within 30 minutes of working with BigSteps if they feel its not a good fit.  This will include a FULL REFUND for the customer's deposit.
